Make that Northwest Vistas

When I jumped into the blogging world the other day, I was glad to see that the name Northwest Wanderings wasn't taken and snatched it up.

Trouble is, I later saw that there were plenty of Northwest Wanderings on the web.

At least enough to make me decide to go with another favorite for my new online presence of Northwest Vistas.

You can find the publication with its new posts at the northwestvistas.blogspot.com address.

Thank you for your interest, and I hope you enjoy your reading!

Welcome to Northwest Vistas!

Welcome to Northwest Vistas!

Northwest Vistas is a new publication designed to offer stories and photos of places to visit in the Pacific Northwest.
We'll take you to various vistas in mostly Washington and Oregon, and we also plan on taking you to places like Idaho, Western Wyoming and Montana and other areas in the Great Northwest region.
From the Pacific Coast to Puget Sound, the Olympic Peninsula, the Willamette Valley, the mighty Cascade Mountains and the deserts of Central and Eastern Washington and Oregon -- not to mention the Wallowas, Blues and Okanagans.
Publisher Tim Clinton has lived in Washington for all of his 60 years on this sparkling blue planet and has loved writing as long as he can remember and photography since he was 11 and met Hollywood photographer Gene Trindl and his scenery shooting son Tom.
He has been a sports reporter in the Robinson Newspapers chain since 1980 and the sports editor since 1998.  The chain includes the current Westside Seattle website that incorporated the old Highline Times, Des Moines News, Highline Times, White Center News, West Seattle Herald and Ballard News Tribune territories -- and used to include the Federal Way News that Clinton worked for from 1980 until it ceased publication in 2012.
He studied news writing and journalism at Green River Community College and photography at Highline Community College and also earned a photography certificate from Stratford Career Institute.
So buckle up and get ready for the ride starting after the New Year in 2022.
